Alan Newman

After graduating with a degree in Psychology from UCL, Alan spent three years in Kenya on VSO. He then worked for a few software companies before joining Digital where he worked in the Middle East and the UK. He attended the International Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD and became a freelance consultant in 1992 when he co-founded Quadrant 4. Clients from the finance, banking and insurance sectors with whom he’s worked include AXA, Bankers Trust, Coutts, CSFB, Liverpool Victoria, Royal & SunAlliance, and Swiss Re. He has written for FT Finance and The Journal of Brand Management. |
Kali Bagary

After graduating from Reading University with a degree in Computer Science and Cybernetics, Kali Bagary worked for several years delivering IT projects for a range of clients, including Argos, AXA, Metropolitan Life, Santander, PZU and Synergy – not only in the UK but also in France, Germany, Poland and South Africa. He was the managing director of the NASDAQ-listed software company, Sapiens, until 2007 when he set up JMR Consulting UK limited, a software services company. Unable to switch off project manager mode, Kali spent 2 years rebuilding his house. |
Peter Le Beau

Peter Le Beau has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years and is a well known speaker and writer. He has extensive experience in business to business marketing and having been Head of Marketing & PR at Swiss Re he has an enviable network of contacts throughout the marketplace. Peter has worked or consulted in the US, South Africa, Asia and European life markets. An otherwise exemplary reputation is stained by the fact that he is an enthusiastic supporter of Arsenal FC. |
David Robinson

An actuary by training and a strategist by nature, David is one of those rare people who is comfortable dealing with detail while, at the same time, being mindful of the big picture. He has occupied senior roles in the insurance industry for many years, most recently as founder and CEO of Bright Grey. (Launched in 2003, Bright Grey’s is a rare example of successful innovation in the insurance sector). David has served on numerous industry and professional bodies and is a regular conference speaker. He is now a well-networked, independent consultant. In 2006 he had his first 15 minutes of fame appearing in the BBC2 series “Trust me, I’m an Economist”. |
